Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

Trey Lowe was appointed executive vice president and chief technology officer in May 2026 following Devon’s merger with Coterra Energy. Lowe is responsible for Devon’s AI, technology and digital security functions. Prior to the merger, he served as senior vice president and chief technology officer. Lowe joined Devon in 2005 and has held technical and leadership roles with responsibilities spanning U.S. and international operations. Before joining Devon, Lowe worked for Schlumberger in technical roles in the U.S. and Norway. He is a past distinguished lecturer for the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Lowe serves on the board of directors of Fervo Energy, which is focused on developing next-generation geothermal power. Lowe holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Oklahoma State University.
