Executive Vice President, Exploration and Production

Trey Lowe was appointed executive vice president, exploration and production in 2026. Lowe is responsible for geosciences, engineering (reservoir, production, and facilities), production and midstream operations, land and strategic growth for the Permian business unit. Prior to this role, he served as executive vice president and chief technology officer. He joined Devon in 2005 and has championed continuous improvement and technology-forward solutions as an engineer, production manager, completions manager, and executive leader across operations and technology teams in U.S. and international basins. Before joining Devon, Lowe worked for Schlumberger in field and technical roles in the U.S. and Norway. He is a past distinguished lecturer for the Society of Petroleum Engineers and serves on the board of directors of Fervo Energy, a leading enhanced geothermal systems company. Lowe holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Oklahoma State University.
