John Krenicki Jr., 58, joined the board of directors in June 2018. He is a senior operating partner at the private-equity investment firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice LLC (CD&R) and is chairman of two privately held entities controlled by CD&R. Krenicki is also executive chairman of Brand Industrial Services, another privately held entity controlled by Brookfield Asset Management & CD&R, and will become interim chief executive officer effective June 30, 2020. With respect to public company boards, Krenicki is currently lead director of Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. and serves as chairman of the nominating and corporate governance committee and executive committee and as a member of the compensation committee. Previously, Krenicki built a 29-year career at General Electric Co., where he served as vice chairman as well as president and CEO of GE Energy, among other executive positions. He has a master’s degree in management from Purdue University and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Connecticut. He also is a member of the National Petroleum Council.
