Data collected directly from visitors. In most instances, you can visit our website without providing any Personal Information.   • Location data (e.g. data derived from your IP address, country and zip code) and the precise ge-olocation of your mobile device where we have provided notice and choice

You are not required to provide this information. However, if you elect not to provide the requested information, we may not be able to provide the requested service or complete your transaction.

Data collected by automated means. We collect certain data about all visitors to our website, including what pages they access, the number of bytes transferred, the links they click within each respective page, and other actions taken within our website. On certain pages you access, we may connect this information with our identity to determine your potential interests in our operations. We may also use this information to improve our security measures. Additionally, we collect certain standard information that your browser sends to every website you visit, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, your browser type and capabilities and language, your operating system, the date and time you access the website, and the website from which you linked to our website. Individuals receiving payments from Devon are assigned unique internal identification numbers that are not associated with an individual's Personal Information. However, the collection of Personal Information is necessary for Devon to fulfill certain legal and regulatory requirements including, without limitation, its obligation to report payments made to individuals to the Internal Revenue Service and other taxing authorities. You should be aware that Devon will use and provide such Personal Information to governmental agencies, including the Internal Revenue Service, when filing Form 1099's for payments such as revenue distributions.

Data gathered through social media pages. When you communicate with us through a Devon Social Media Page, we may receive Personal Information about you such as your user name, profile picture, hometown, email address, or gender. We will use any Personal Information received from social media in accordance with this Privacy Statement.

Data collected through advertising and social media cookies. These cookies are used for advertisements displayed on third-party websites, including social media, and are tailored to your preferences and to help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. If you deactivate these cookies, advertising (including ours) will continue to be displayed as you browse the web, although they will not be specific to your personal interests and will therefore be less relevant.

For example, we store Personal Information you provide on computer systems with limited access that are in cloud storage repositories.
