Devon is offering an unparalleled opportunity for junior military officers to experience a challenging and rewarding career. We are looking for the next generation of oil and natural gas engineers — candidates who push through challenges, are collaborative and face the future with driven optimism. Military leadership means always doing the right thing, delivering results and being a team player. Devon does business by these same core values. We’ve found that integrity, character and a strong work ethic help us solve challenges and produce the energy that powers North America.

Devon Energy’s JMO program is designed to help military members transition into the civilian workforce while fully using the skills they have acquired while serving our nation. During this transition, JMOs will complete a fast-paced, 12-month, field and office rotational training program that allows them a unique opportunity to learn multiple facets of oil and gas exploration and production operations. Following the rotational training period, each engineer’s final placement is in Devon’s 50-story Oklahoma City headquarters. Just like the military, your job training does not stop. Devon offers our JMOs ongoing technical training and career development to help build the energy leaders of tomorrow.
