Volunteer Efforts Support Food Bank
Devon employees stuffed, measured, boxed and wrapped more than 264,000 pounds of food during the annual Stuff the Truck volunteer event for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. With the help of 430 employees, the Food Bank was able to save around $4,600 in labor costs. Watch a quick video recap of Devon’s volunteers in action.
In addition, Devon had nearly 25 employees, friends and family helping sort donations brought in by the U.S. Postal Service during the Food Bank’s Letter Carriers’ Food Drive. With 195 cities in Oklahoma participating, the drive collected 323,000 pounds of food.
