Devon is the largest natural gas producer in Texas. In 2008, the company drilled more than 1,000 wells and produced 1.8 billion cubic feet of natural gas equivalent per day.

Devon's four main areas of production in Wyoming accounted for 75 billion cubic feet of natural gas and nearly 500,000 barrels of oil for Devon in 2008.
