Foster, 50, holds the position of Senior Vice President – Central Division.   Foster joined Devon in 2000 with the acquisition of Santa Fe Snyder Corporation.  He began his professional career in 1981 with Gulf Oil (later Chevron Corporation) and held positions in New Orleans, Louisiana and Houston and Midland, Texas, before joining Santa Fe Energy Resources in 1999.  Foster holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from West Virginia University.  He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
